BEAM:

The following set of robots were built around the philosophy of BEAM (Biology Electronics Aesthetics Mechanics). The idea is to design autonomous robots without the use of any microcontrollers. Most of these circuits employ logic gates (NOT), some capacitors, resistors and sensors. Its interesting to see how you can transform these completely inanimate objects into seemingly intelligent creatures.
